As a manufacturer-independent integrated developer with a strong worldwide network of local development partners the company provides high-quality turnkey PV plants, designed and engineered in Germany, to end investors internationally.

IB VOGT employs over 279 experts in all areas of the solar power plant value chain. The family-owned company creates business in more than 43 countries, operating internationally from its headquarters in Berlin, Germany and offices in UK, USA, Australia, Panama, Poland, Spain, India and South East Asia, as well as several joint ventures across Africa.

BG Energy entered into partnership with IB VOGT GmbH, Germany in the quest to build, commission and operate solar PV projects and energy storage initiatives within the South Africa and African energy market.

• Indoor and Outdoor Lighting: Off-Grid, Hybrid and portable Solar LED Lighting, Light Engines
• Life Tech energy solutions in respect of Lithium Iron Phosphates (LiFePO4) for battery packs i.e. provides product to Tesla Premium Electric vehicles, an American automaker, energy storage company, and solar panel manufacturer based in Palo Alto, California uses Lithium Iron phosphates for battery parks.

BG Energy Fuels is a wholly black-owned firm and is a market-leading, Geo African supplier and distributor of high-quality fuels and lubricants to mining and commercial customers across the continent. BG Energy is partner to-and- backed by Sasol Energy, a global integrated chemicals and energy company spanning across 27 countries. A public company listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in South Africa and the New York Stock Exchange in the United States.

Sasol and BG Energy seek to provide world-class Automotive Lubricants, Industrial Lubricants and Grease manufacturer and supplier of product in South Africa and neighboring countries. As such, our partnership with Sasol is one of the first of its kind in fulfilling Sasol’s enterprise development initiatives in respect skills transfer and operational strength in order to fully service its customer profile.
